As of December 13, 2012 the fund has reached endowment fund status.  This is due to the generosity of over 110 individuals, families, co-workers and companies.  Funds raised most recently were from the Mittens & Memories event, the memorial hockey game, and a last minute individual donation that pushed the fund over $25,000.  A large part of the fund was due to the commitment of James’ co-workers and the management at Black and McDonald.  The first education award of $1000.00 was given out on December 13, 2012.  For more information on the memorial fund recipients, click here.
