This time of year darkness and despair weigh heavily upon us. Our hearts were broken and our lives dismantled when James was killed 4 years ago, December 17th, 2011.
Like salve to painful wounds, we remember the brightness that was James:
His deep joy for life.
How he lived in harmony with himself and with others.
James approached every day with an open heart, good humour and respect for all.
We remember the great importance he placed on family bonds and close ties with his friends.
Our deep grief and pain continue to be shared by family, friends and a larger community of people who worked or shared life with James in any way.
James would wish for us all to “Love the life you live. Live the life you love.”
