Wrapped in a blanket being held with love, quietly sitting in a rocking chair, Mugsey took her last breath on Tuesday, May 24, 2016.

James was the reason she came home from the pet store.  He fell in love with her as a brand new baby lovebird.  Mugsey was part of the family for the last 22 years.

As the smallest member of the parrot family she was named after Mugsey Boggs, the smallest member playing in the NBA at the time.

We like to think Mugsey is riding around on James’ shoulder now and flying freely whenever she wants.
